Pagosa Duathlon

Violence is a dirty word!  The Pagosa Duathlon is an annual event held to raise funds for the Rise Above Violence (Rise) in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. All proceeds from the duathlon go towards supporting survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other violent crime. Learn more about Rise services and support at www.riseaboveviolence.org,

Treasure Mtn Trail Project, Saturday July 14-Sunday July 15

We need firm RSVP’s by Tuesday, July 10!

We are planning our rescheduled big work day up on Treasure. We will be going up Saturday afternoon/early evening (after the Duathlon) and camping out and then working all day on Sunday. If you can’t camp on Saturday, you can meet us on Sunday morning. We are hoping to get some tread work done above the Windy Pass intersection and possibly one of the muddy crossings (if we can get enough people).

Please email wc.wheelclub@gmail.com if you are interested in this project.  We are trying to get an idea of numbers for how much we can get done, how many tools we need packed in, how much water we’ll need, etc. We are also looking for people with dirt bikes that would be willing to bring some equipment in for us…tools, water, camping equipment. Please let me know if you have a dirt bike that could carry some supplies and would be willing to help out!
