This trail work is on the Dakota Springs trail behind the high school that the DUST2 Mountain Bike Team (and the community) rides.  It is a great opportunity to learn trail building techniques from professional trail builder Tony Boone.

There are limited spots for this event.  Pre-registration is required. For more information please check the DUST2 Facebook page.

Slow Roll Ride

Join The Hub for their 1st SLOW ROLL Ride of the 2018 Season.

This FREE, fun, family friendly community bike ride is for EVERYONE!! ALL ages, ALL skill levels and every type of bike is welcome. Our slow pace keeps the group safe and gives riders a chance to enjoy the beautiful Pagosa Springs scenery. Make it even more fun by wearing a shirt or jersey representing your favorite sports team!

We’ll leave from The HUB and do a leisurely 5 mile ride primarily on the paved pathways.

Need a bike? You can rent one from us for just $5.00. The proceeds will be donated to the DUST2 Cycling Team.
Rental bikes must be reserved no later than Noon on the day of the ride. Call us at 970-731-2002 to reserve your bike.

Pagosa Mountain Sports’ trained mechanics will be your hosts for this free Beginner Class that will cover the basics of doing light maintenance on your bike. Leave feeling confident to change your own flat and get your bike ready and safe for rides. Bring your own bike and repair kit so they can compare options.

Wolf Creek Wheel Club – Group Ride – Mountain Bike – Res Hill

We will meet at Pagosa Mountain Sports (162 Pagosa Street) and ride Res Hill with options for a harder and easier loop.

Join racing pro Kat Marks for this free clinic to explain the importance of full body strength and what muscle groups you need to work on. Wear your workout clothes to go through different exercises that you can do anywhere. Afterwards enjoy some healthy snacks (including how to make delicious smoothies!) that Kat will talk about as nutrition options for your workouts.

This week, meet at Pagosa Mountain Sports at 6pm, ready to roll out at 6:15pm.

CANCELLED  – Due to San Juan NF closure.

We will meet at the Camino Real parking lot at 8am to carpool out to First Fork Rd. We will drive to the top of FS Rd 630 and work our way down the trail, doing some treadwork and cutting out some downed trees. This trail was machine built last year and needs a little bit of love to spruce it up this year.

Wear gloves, long pants and closed toed sturdy shoes. Bring water, a lunch and snacks, sunscreen and extra layers.

We will plan to ride afterwards.  So, bring your bike and bike clothes to do one downhill run at the end, if you are interested.

The Santa Cruz Demo Day has been rescheduled due to possible trail closure and predicted weather.  Check back for the soon to be updated day/time!

Wolf Creek Wheel Club – Group Ride – Gravel Ride

Reservoir Hill is having some tree clearing done, so we are changing the normal mountain bike ride to a gravel road ride. Meet at Pagosa Mountain Sports and we will ride out 4 Mile Rd to the gate (and possibly down Sonlight Rd) and back to the shop. Bring your gravel or mountain bike. Road bikes will probably be fine to ride as well, but may not be as comfortable.
